alau Pignatelli is a 16th-century palace located in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, a singular civil building that combines Renaissance elegance with the splendour of Gothic style. It forms part of the headquarters of the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, which has carefully preserved and enhanced the venue through renovations that incorporate state-of-the-art technology while maintaining its intimate and stately character.
The complex is made up of Palau Pignatelli and Casa Bassols, and features a variety of indoor lounges and outdoor areas that can be adapted to events of all kinds:
Salón de los Atlantes: ideal for conferences and presentations, with capacity for up to 130 guests in theatre style or 140 in cocktail format.
Salón de las Cuatro Estaciones: a noble hall perfect for intimate banquets (up to 70 guests) or meetings (up to 50 people).
Terraces and inner courtyard: the palace offers outdoor spaces with views over Portal del Ángel, ideal for receptions, networking breaks or cocktail events, with capacity for up to 120 guests.
Private rooms: the venue also includes independent offices and glass-walled rooms with separate access, allowing workshops, meetings or showrooms to be held simultaneously.
All rooms are offered on an exclusive-use basis, allowing full customisation of the setup and ensuring privacy for each event.
Catering
Catering is provided by the Reial Cercle Artístic Restaurant, which offers creative Mediterranean cuisine, tasting menus, and vegetarian and vegan options. The catering team works closely with clients to design bespoke menus and to offer signature cocktails and carefully selected wine pairings.
Access
Palau Pignatelli is located just a few metres from Jaume I (L4) and Liceu (L3) metro stations, with several bus lines nearby and close proximity to public car parks. The palace’s event planning team advises clients from the very first visit, overseeing every detail and coordinating closely with any external suppliers required for the event.
